As a structural engineer with nearly a decade of experience, he has dozens of projects under his belt. Proficient in all standard structural materials, Anthony prides himself in his ability to provide designs and details that are structurally sound, constructible, and cost effective.

He is also passionate about structural analysis, both linear and non-linear. Anthony has devoted countless hours to learning the mathematical theory behind finite element analysis, structural dynamics, linear and non-linear mechanics, earthquake engineering, and much more.
​
As a lifelong outdoors enthusiast, Anthony is most at peace when he's on a river, miles from the nearest town. But skiing, mountain biking and backpacking all offer relief from the working world of the weary.

Anthonie has spent his career as a structural engineer working on high-profile projects such as museums, embassies, hospitals, national monuments, and tech campuses in seismic regions.

He has been dedicated to improving the structural engineering profession by advancing design technology with companies like Arup, Katerra, and Sidewalk Labs. The purpose of his work is to revolutionize the entire design process through intelligent algorithms and human-assisted design automation.

Anthonie loves world travel and is always up for a new adventure whether it's climbing mountains, sailing to islands, or backpacking around Europe. In recent years, he enjoys the adventure of raising two daughters.
